Black-owned businesses are encouraged to apply for the chance to receive £100,000 worth of advertising on Channel 4, as well as access to mentoring, masterclasses and resources to accelerate business growth.
Lloyds Bank and Channel 4 have joined forces to launch the Black in Business initiative.
The initiative is looking for five ambitious Black-owned businesses who are ready to shine, and the winning businesses will each receive an incredible package, including:
- £100,000 of TV advertising on Channel 4
- Their own TV commercial
- Six months of tailored business expertise, supported by DOES
A further five businesses will be selected as Rising Stars and will receive a package of support including a £3,000 grant, tailored consulting and promotional opportunities provided by Jamii, an online marketplace for Black businesses.
Every applicant will also receive access to a series of free business masterclasses led by industry-leading professionals, equipping participants with the tools to grow and scale their business.
We could be about to see some of our favourite Black-owned brands become household names with these TV ads, so it’s is a real moment for Black talent.
