The 14-storey, 160,000 sq ft building has achieved a WELL Certification at the Core Platinum level through the International WELL Building Institute™ and showcases best-in class building connectivity.
Taking its name from the striking staircase on its north elevation that resembles human vertebrae, The Spine boasts internal biophilia including double-storey sky gardens, complete with high-oxygen producing plants, a large bicycle and shower facility and undercroft parking.
On the upper floors you can find Spaces at the Spine, the Royal College of Physicians’ stunning conference and events spaces, complete with destination dining space ‘The Axis’. These spaces are all available to private hire.

Flexi Space Membership
£29.99 p/w per desk
A coworking hot desk, perfect for anyone who just needs a space to plug-in and go. By taking a Flexi Space weekly membership with us you will have access to a desk, chair, locker and fast WiFi as standard.
Project Team Space
£200 pcm per desk
Our Project Team Space will provide you and your colleagues with a dedicated area to work and feel inspired. You’ll be allocated a dedicated bank of coworking desks, chairs and lockers and given access to WiFi within the main open plan part of the floor.
Private Space
From £250 pcm per desk
If you need something a little larger or more private then our private serviced offices are for you. Again, each person will have a desk, chair, locker and WiFi but all in the confines of your own little haven.

In the heart of the city’s Knowledge Quarter, The Spine is part of Paddington Village which is home to The Royal Northern College of Physicians, The University of Liverpool International College, a brand new Novotel, our own forthcoming Hemisphere development, as well as three plots earmarked for exciting developments. At the centre of all this will be an expansive public square, complete with trees, biophilia, street furniture and numerous places for people to relax and enjoy the Liverpool sunshine.
Getting Around
Bike
We support a sustainable commute with secure, indoor bike storage in the building’s undercroft. There are purpose-built showers and changing facilities with lockers on the
ground floor.
Public Transport
Liverpool’s Lime Street and Central Stations are within walking distance. Plans are also afoot to implement the Paddington-Lime Line – a new rapid transit system – connecting Paddington Village to the main train stations and
retail core.
Car
The Spine has 50 dedicated car parking spaces that can be rented on either a monthly or annual basis, and by either an individual or a company. There are also 5 electric car charging points.
