The Brett Centre for Entrepreneurship's sixth and final 'Entrepreneurs Monthly Meet-up' of this academic year is focusing on Charities.


The final Entrepreneurs Monthly Meet-up of this academic year is being held on Thursday 1st May | 5.30-7.30pm in the Liverpool Business Clinic 15-19 Hardman Street | L1 9AS and is focused on Charities.

Important entities in the economy and society with 170,000+ contributing to £90bn of turnover and employing 1.3m people.  The overwhelming majority of charities are smaller organisations and face the demands of all enterprises – plus the others that are involved with being a charity.

This monthly meet-up is being ran in collaboration with the Paul Lavelle Foundation and its Chief ExecutiveSharne Williams, is going to be speaking on the development of the organisation across 7-years since its inception.

Including raising its profile, bid writing, fundraising and event planning, managing the organisation, its staff, volunteers and board of trustees – as well as delivering its vital service to raise awareness about and support its users that are survivors of domestic abuse.

As always they’ll be FREE food and refreshments – plus casual networking.
