Yoga offers a holistic approach to well-being, blending physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Through practices including intentional movement, mindfulness and breath practice (pranayama), it enhances somatic awareness, supporting the mind-body connection.

As well as supporting flexibility and strength, this embodied practice promotes relaxation and emotional balance through its effect on the nervous system. It has been shown to help reduce stress and anxiety, and to sharpen focus, cutting through the mental noise to foster inner calm and clarity.

The 45 minute classes will be run on a weekly basis, from 12:15pm – 1pm, and can be booked onto in advance via Eventbrite. Each session costs £7.50 per person.

These are mat-based sessions, led by Nu of Heartstrong Yoga. Nu leads her movement sessions with knowledge, heartfelt compassion and integrity, remaining true to the rich cultural, spiritual, and philosophical roots of the yoga tradition, whilst expressing these truths in a way that is accessible to all and relevant to our lives in a modern context.

Her motto is “embodiment over physicality”: if you have a body, you have a yoga body. Come as you are, wear whatever is comfortable, take the time to still the mind, to breathe, move, replenish yourself and flow into the new week with curiosity and clarity.

“Yoga is the artwork of awareness on the canvas of the body, mind and soul” – Amit Ray

10% of class proceeds go to charities supporting those in need locally and globally.
