Welcome to HEMISPHERE One, Liverpool’s newest labs building. Being developed by Sciontec, a triple-helix partnership between Bruntwood SciTech, Liverpool City Council, Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Liverpool. The new development includes a fully brick-built exterior echoing the city’s architectural heritage. With construction about to commence, this stunning new building will be ready to occupy in 2028.
Make it happen.

The 150,000 sq ft (gross), eight-storey development will become one of Liverpool’s first red brick commercial structures for more than a century, and one of the largest since the construction of the Stanley Dock Tobacco Warehouse in 1901.
Located at Paddington Village, Liverpool City Council’s flagship development site, the highly-sustainable building will feature Sciontec’s flexible, all-inclusive workspace product Sciontec AI, which has already proven hugely popular at neighbouring building The Spine.
HEMISPHERE ONE is designed with a focus on sustainability and wellbeing and is intended to achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ and a WiredScore Certification.
Located in Knowledge Quarter Liverpool innovation district, alongside the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital, and a growing cluster of digital, life sciences and deep‑tech companies, HEMISPHERE offers a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding innovation ecosystem.
