The India-founded AI solutions company, which established its first overseas workspace at CENTRAL TECH in Liverpool earlier this year, has begun its next growth phase, by recruiting from the local talent pool.
The positive milestone comes just three months after setting up operations within the UK, and reflects the business’ commitment to creating jobs in Liverpool and direct engagement within the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool innovation district.
Aivion has recruited an AI & Data Innovation Intern, through the University of Liverpool, who will contribute to initiatives focused on leveraging artificial intelligence and data-driven solutions.
Speaking about the appointment, Kofil Ali, Non-Executive Director at Aivion, said:
“This is just the first step in what we intend to be a broader programme of engagement with local universities, schools, and organisations.
“Our ambition is to build a pipeline of skilled individuals who can thrive in the AI-driven economy while supporting businesses with practical, high-quality solutions, such as our AI-assisted Grading solution, as well as actively support and develop students and residents within the region.”
The intern will primarily be involved in Adaptive Learning, a unified platform designed for both learners and content creators. This platform personalises learning experiences using AI, enabling customised content delivery, performance tracking, and intelligent recommendations to enhance user engagement and outcomes.
Munish Dhall, Co-founder & Director – AI Product & Data Consulting, at Aivion, added:
“AIVION is pleased to partner with the University of Liverpool through the Liverpool Interns Programme. As part of this collaboration, we have welcomed our first intern, Bilegsaikhan Tuvshintulga, for a two-month placement, providing hands-on exposure to applied AI and data innovation projects within a structured commercial environment.
We see this as the beginning of a wider commitment to support and develop local talent in Liverpool, with plans to expand similar partnerships with other universities across Liverpool and the wider region. We also intend to create further internship and early-career opportunities in the coming months.”
Aivion has also recently launched a new product – AivionGrade – an AI-powered assessment platform that transforms exam evaluation, turning hours of manual grading into minutes of accurate, consistent results. With a simple scan-and-upload approach, institutions can deliver faster outcomes, deeper insights, and fair, scaleable evaluation at scale.
