Fast growing software developers relocate for enhanced synergy and connections.
Asset Handling Ltd was established in 2010 by Directors David Nash, Stephen Harrison and Mark Janikiewicz, who spotted a gap in the market for real-time monitoring. Originally working within data centres, the business now focuses on the manufacturing sector by developing bespoke solutions for machinery and production line monitoring.
As part of their ongoing expansion plans, Asset Handling Ltd moved into Liverpool Science Park (LSP) in May 2022, to capitalise on its dynamic business ecosystem and location within the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool) innovation district.
Lynsey Horkins, Office Manager at Asset Handling Ltd, said:
“We were attracted to LSP by its cluster of similar companies and the wide range of local amenities nearby. Being surrounded by other leading manufacturing and technology focused organisations will open up clear opportunities for synergies and new connections, which we look forward to exploring.”
Asset Handling Ltd have already taken full advantage of their new base at LSP, having recruited three new team members in the last six weeks. Their growing team now boasts a wealth of senior expertise across Sales, Data Engineering and Condition Monitoring, which in turn allows for growth of their customer base.
Working to help businesses manage their resources and improve business performance, Asset Handling Ltd turns data into usable information, allowing their customers to make informed decisions based on real insights. The software packages and products that they design and develop target specific business challenges, such as the management of assets, resources, projects and risk.
Asset Handling Ltd has a strong presence within Liverpool City Region’s built environment and manufacturing sectors, having worked with fellow LSP-based The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), via their Digital Manufacturing Accelerator, for several years.
They are also a member of the Innovate UK EDGE Scaleup Programme which helps the highest potential businesses realise their ambitions, and have exhibited within “Innovation Alley” at Digital Manufacturing Week’s Smart Factory Expo.
With plans to expand further within LSP, Asset Handling Ltd are fast becoming an integral part of the community here and we wish them the greatest success in their ongoing operations.
