New cluster boards for Advanced Manufacturing, Digital and Creative, and Health and Life Sciences

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has announced appointments to three new cluster boards, representing the city region’s key growth sectors of Advanced Manufacturing, Digital and Creative, and Health and Life Sciences.

Each board, which is composed of prominent individuals from related fields, has the authority to shape public policy, promote productivity, economic growth, and competitiveness while assisting the city region in realizing its goals of sustainable development and inclusivity.

The Combined Authority’s Business and Enterprise Board, established in the fall of last year, will receive reports from the new cluster boards. This board replaced the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) in its capacity as the local business voice.

The advisory boards are expected to furnish the Combined Authority with valuable insights regarding the functioning of their respective sectors, prospects for expansion, novelty, or capital allocation within the cluster, and chances to establish connections between the boards and the broader economy to stimulate investment, productivity, and job creation.

We are pleased to announce that our Head of Commercial, Leanne Katsande, was also appointed as Board Member on the Health & Life Science Cluster Board.
